You’re not booked out. You’re capped out.

You’re doing everything right. Your chair is full, your clients love you, your books are technically “full.” And yet the math never moves. That’s not a work ethic problem — it’s a service-mix problem.

Every service on your menu is a one-time ticket you have to re-sell. Wash and set? She’s back in two weeks, at the same price, and you start from zero. Braids? Hours of your back, priced like a commodity, and the client disappears to the next stylist with an opening.

So you stay busy. Busy is not the same as paid. You can be fully booked and still be one slow week from uncomfortable, because nothing in your book compounds. Nothing comes back on its own.

Micro locs are the one service where the first appointment is the smallest check you’ll ever write her.

The install is the beginning. Not the payday.

A micro loc client doesn’t buy a style. She buys a years-long relationship with your chair. Every install becomes a standing appointment every four to six weeks — retightening, repair, upkeep — for as long as she wears the style. That’s the shift: you stop selling appointments and start building a book of recurring clients.

One install a week at $850 = about $44,000 a year.

Those same clients returning every 5 weeks at $150 = about $10,000 a month once the book fills.

That’s the model. It’s not more hours — it’s the same chair with a service that rebooks itself.

And the demand side is real: clients drive hours and sit on waitlists because there’s no trained loctician near them. Repair work — fixing someone else’s bad install — is a second income stream almost nobody in any local market offers. This training teaches you to do the work and to run it as a business, in that order.

Self-paced video program. Lifetime access. Watch on your phone between clients, practice on your own schedule.

Most trainings end at the technique. That’s why most stylists stay stuck.

Here’s the truth about this industry: technical trainings teach you to do micro locs, then send you home to figure out the rest alone. No pricing model. No marketing. No client-retention system. So you can do the work — and still have an empty maintenance book.

Module 5 is the difference-maker. Pricing, marketing, customer service, sanitation, hygiene, wellness — the business half. That’s what separates a stylist who can do micro locs from one who makes a living doing them.

Who this is for

This is for you if…

  • You’re a licensed stylist or loctician with a working chair.

  • You’re turning away micro loc clients because you don’t feel certified to take them.

  • You can commit a few focused hours a week to practice.

  • You want the business system with the technique, not instead of it.

It’s not for you if…

  • You’re looking for a supply kit or mannequin head in the box — there isn’t one. Your hands and your existing tools are enough to start.

  • You want someone to build the business for you. This is a skill plus a system — you still do the work.

  • You want live coaching calls or a directory listing — this program is deliberately self-paced and self-serve.

  • You’re not licensed and not working toward it.

Questions stylists actually ask

Do I need a license to take this?

This training is built for licensed stylists and locticians. It teaches technique and business — it doesn’t replace your state license, and you should always check your state’s rules on which services you can legally perform.

Do I need a mannequin head or a supply kit?

No. There’s no kit to buy and no mannequin shipped to you. The practice drills in Module 3 are designed around tools you already own or can pick up for a few dollars at any beauty supply store.

How long does it take to get through?

Most stylists finish the videos in a weekend if they binge, or two to three weeks at a comfortable pace with practice time between modules. You set the schedule — the access never expires.

Can I do this if I’ve never done locs at all?

Yes. Module 1 and Module 2 assume zero loc experience — that’s what the hair theory and foundations sections are for. If you can braid and you know your way around a head, you can start here.

How long do I have access?

Lifetime. Buy once, keep it forever, including any future updates to the material.

What if I have questions while I’m practicing?

Support is available by email — details are in your welcome email after enrollment. If you’re stuck on a specific technique, film a short clip of your practice and send it. That’s the fastest way to get a useful answer.

Does this cover loc extensions?

No. This program teaches natural micro locs — starting, interlocking, repair, and maintenance on your client’s own hair. Extensions are a separate skill set and are intentionally not covered.
